1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the hilot.nyc website (the "Site"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on the hilot.nyc Site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Site
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site

HiLot NYC makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

4. Limitations

In no event shall HiLot NYC or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on hilot.nyc, even if HiLot NYC or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

5. Age Requirement

HiLot NYC is a 21+ bar. By making an event booking inquiry or visiting in person, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age and agree to comply with all age verification requirements. Any bookings made by individuals under 21 years of age will be subject to verification and may be cancelled without refund.

6. Event Booking Terms

Booking Inquiry and Confirmation: Submission of a booking inquiry through the website does not constitute a confirmed booking. Your event will only be confirmed upon written agreement and receipt of any required deposits.

Deposits and Payment: Event bookings are subject to deposit requirements as specified in your booking confirmation. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled by HiLot according to our cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 30 days in advance of your event date to be eligible for a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days before your event date will result in forfeiture of the deposit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the event.

Separate Contract Terms: All event bookings are subject to a separate event services agreement. The terms of that agreement, including specific pricing, cancellation terms, liability, and other provisions, will supersede these general website terms for matters related to your booking.

7. Assumption of Risk

Your participation at HiLot NYC and in any event at our venue is at your own risk. You assume all risk of injury, damage, or loss resulting from your use of the facility or attendance at any event. You agree to comply with all venue rules and staff instructions, and to conduct yourself responsibly and lawfully at all times.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the hilot.nyc website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of HiLot NYC or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content is prohibited.

9. Third-Party Links

The hilot.nyc Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our sister bar Joyface. These links are provided for your convenience only. HiLot NYC is not responsible for the contents of any third-party sites and makes no representations about their accuracy, completeness, or availability. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms of service.

10. Modifications to Terms

HiLot NYC may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. By using this Site, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service. We recommend checking this page periodically for changes.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York County.

12. Marketing Communications

By providing your email address — whether through a booking inquiry, newsletter signup, or any other form on hilot.nyc — you consent to receive marketing communications from HiLot NYC, including our newsletter and occasional updates about events and offerings.
